absolutely enjoy painting in oil and each one I work on brings me
into my own "world" as I paint. That place I'm talking about is
difficult to describe but sometimes I wish it wouldn't end. After each painting session (and even during a session) I step back and look what is happening with the painting and see what I need to do to improve the painting and won't quit working on a piece until I get what I want. My painting style is a mix of direct paint, scumbuling and glazing. The oil paintings are painted on streched canvas or on gessoed panels of quality hard board and arrive ready to be framed. Each painting comes with guidelines for framing and hanging. Sizes of the paintings are listed and are securely shipped. When I photograph my paintings I take great care to represent the correct color of the painting as much as possible but unfortunately computer monitors display colors a bit differently from one to the next and a perfect match is impossible, but what I can say is, in reality my paintings do have rich color which I'm sure you will enjoy.
